Build
The seven build steps
What UpBuilder is doing at each stage, and what you can do while it works.
The steps
Seven steps run while you watch a live preview.
You can send messages the whole time. You do not have to wait for it to finish.
- 1Analyzing design
- 2Planning page structure
- 3Creating design system
- 4Building global sections
- 5Building pages
- 6Improving design accuracy
- 7Validating and completing build
Step 6 is skipped when Figma match quality is set to None.
While it builds
The workspace has a chat panel and four views of the project.
- Preview
- The live canvas, with zoom and viewport presets.
- Code
- A read only file tree of the project.
- Stylesheet
- The design variables the build is using.
- Assets
- Images and files in the project.
- Send a message
- It queues and runs after the current work finishes.
- Interrupt
- Stops the current work and pauses the build. The preview keeps running.
Messages count against your daily limit
Follow-up messages count. The first build and fixing export issues do not.
If it stops
- 1Wait a few seconds
- 2Press Continue build to resume from the last checkpoint
- 3Check whether another project is building, since only one runs at a time
